Dear parents, 

It was such a pleasure meeting all of you and your wonderful children. I am so excited for all this year has in store for us and to get to know you and your child better. The first couple of days will be mostly routine and getting your child comfortable/excited about our classroom! We will also begin our "All About Me" unit this week. This Friday, I hope to have your child share their family with the class. Please send your child to school with a picture of your family! We will be sharing these with the class, and then they will be laminated and attached to their desk. I hope this will make them feel more comfortable in our classroom, and feel like their family is a part of our school family. I will leave a volunteer sign up sheet on the front table this week. Please include any special interests, talents, or ways to help out that you may wish to share with our class!
